IPChanger V2.0.3 is a program to
quickly switch IP addresses on your laptop when going from job to job. You
can assign a Static IP, ENable DHCP to "Optain an IP address automatically",
set up automatically to program the 6381 Modem, and a lot more. You won't need Admin rights on your laptop to run this program, as nothing is installed into Windows. It's a "Stand Alone" program. The Windows "Network Connections", takes many Mouse clicks, and is slower than this program. You will be able to change IP addresses on your laptop much quicker and easier than you're used to. It seems a little slow, but that's because you're not waiting there clicking, clicking, clicking ... There's even a couple of Menu items that launch "ipconfig" and shell to DOS for a PING test. Run it or Save it to your Desktop, or someplace on your Hard Drive. Double click it and follow the instructions. You'll then have a new shortcut on your Desktop to use called IP Changer V2.0.3 Hopefully this will make life easier for your Techs out there in the Field. John |
